Who would’ve thought that no more than a couple months ago ShirtBOARDS was just an idea. However, it was a very actionable idea that Steve and the ShirtBOARD team had. In the midst of so much chaos and uncertainty. So much negativity within isolation. Covid-19 and many societal issues were throwing our beautiful world into a panic. I am always curious why people tend to focus on what’s negative and out of their control, rather than focusing on the things we can control and all of the great things that add value to our lives. It was ShirtBOARDS goal to help people within our communities find that reassurance they needed. That positivity they needed. That good, happy feeling we like so much.
We are just 3 short days away from making this a reality, and it’s all because of YOU! You have taken action by wearing your ShirtBOARD, expressing your message, and promoting the importance of goodness everywhere you go, and within every conversation you have. Our kickstarter is funded and we are grateful for that. However, the action to inspire goodness and positivity must continue long beyond 3 days from now. Our goal is to inspire those who only focus on what’s negative, and show them ways they can take action to promote positivity and hope themselves. Tell them what your ShirtBOARD means to you. How it helps you be more kind, more nice, and more positive.
Use the next 3 days to inspire and change the attitudes of those around you. Let’s make a push to hit that stretch goal and grow our ShirtBOARD community. Keep taking action and doing good everywhere you go! We all know that we need it more than ever! Only taking action will create the change that we desire!

Our e-journal documents the COVID-19 pandemic from our viewpoint within our community. In the short-term, we hope it promotes connectivity and contrast within our shirtBOARD network. In the long-term, we hope it gives timely interpretations of the event to provide insight and understanding for future generations.
