What The TP? | THE VIRAL Journal, Part 6

As everyone rushes to the grocery store to stock up for self-quarantine, one item that is most desired is toilet paper. People are leaving with shopping basketsful and fights erupt in stores.  There is no reasonable explanation for this. Hopefully this doesn’t create a black market for TP! 

California, New York, Illinois, have locked down their cities.  That is a total of 70 Million  Americans. This means no work for them.  They must stay home.  They can go on walks, exercise and walk their dogs while they stand 9 feet apart. 

They are shortages of medical supplies and equipment.  Many businesses are converting their products to items needed: ventilators, masks, protective wear for our healthcare workers. 

Our Congress and Senate are working on legislation to help small businesses owners, people left with no jobs, and larger businesses.  Airline flights have decreased by 70% and hotels are empty.  We’ll see if they can end their bickering an find a solution.  This tragedy is being politicized.
